Business Thanksgiving Cards: Messages and Design

Business Thanksgiving cards work best as a sincere greeting, not a hidden sales pitch. Choose customers for whom the holiday is relevant. Write one line of thanks your team can stand behind. Put that message on the Front and a brief signature on the Back.

These original examples are fictional, not cards sent to real customers. MARKFOLDS can help design digital Front and Back artwork. It does not select recipients, send greetings, or print cards.

Choose the audience before the message

Thanksgiving matters to some customers and not to others. Before making Thanksgiving cards for business contacts, check where they are and whether the occasion fits your relationship. A general year-end note may serve a wider audience during the holiday season.

If your list spans regions, ask your team to review the audience before using a seasonal design. Do not assume that every contact shares the same holiday calendar. A relevant greeting starts with that basic choice.

Decide who will sign. A named contact suits a client who knows that person. “The [Business] team” suits a shared account. Check each name and any personal detail. Do not imply a closer relationship than you have.

This is a seasonal appreciation card. An insert that thanks someone for a specific purchase has a different job. For that moment, use our order thank-you message guide.

Write a short Thanksgiving message to customers

Start with a greeting. Add one honest reason for appreciation. Then sign from a real person or team. For example: “Wishing you a peaceful Thanksgiving. Thank you for choosing [Business] this year. — The [Business] team.”

Do not claim every customer helped you grow or belongs to your “family.” That may not be true. A simple thank-you carries more personal touch than an invented story.

For a client you know well, one checked detail can make the note more specific. For a wider customer group, a plain line is safer. You can sound warm without pretending you know each person.

Keep discounts and review requests out of the greeting. If you have an offer, present it elsewhere as an offer. Read the final message aloud. Would your team members be comfortable signing it? If not, cut a phrase.

Six Thanksgiving messages you can adapt

These are original sample lines, not messages sent to customers. Replace brackets with checked details. Select one voice for the card.

  1. Simple: “Wishing you a peaceful Thanksgiving. Thank you for choosing [Business] this year. — The [Business] team”
  2. Warm: “This Thanksgiving, we wanted to say thank you. We appreciate working with you. Wishing you a restful holiday.” Use “working with you” only for a real relationship.
  3. Established client: “Thank you for working with us this year, [Name]. Wishing you and your team a thoughtful Thanksgiving. — [Contact]”
  4. Short: “Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for being with us. — [Business]”
  5. Small team: “We are grateful for the chance to serve you. Wishing you a warm Thanksgiving. — Everyone at [Business]”
  6. Professional: “Thank you for your support this year. Wishing you a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday. — [Business]”

If a customer does not mark Thanksgiving, choose a different time of year or remove the holiday line. “Thank you for your support this year” can stand alone.

Give the Front and Back different jobs

Put the greeting and main thank-you on the Front. Leave space around the words. An autumn motif or brand color can set the mood, but the text should remain easy to read.

Use the Back for a short second line or approved signature. It does not need a product list. Connect both sides through type, color, and spacing. Our Front and Back design guide covers the general layout.

If the Front carries the full sentence, the Back may need only a signature. If the Front has just “Happy Thanksgiving,” let the Back finish the thought. This keeps the two sides connected without crowding either one.

Fictional Thanksgiving customer appreciation card with autumn leaves, a thank-you message, and a small team signature
Concept illustration: keep the customer thank-you prominent and the team signature secondary. This is not a product screenshot or a card sent to a customer.

Check names, spelling, line breaks, and contrast on both sides. Check any date or contact detail against its approved source. For a different seasonal occasion, see our personalized Christmas card guide.

The illustration above shows a quiet autumn direction. It is a starting point, not a required style. Choose colors and imagery that fit your own brand and keep the words legible.

Turn approved words into digital artwork

Bring your final copy, business name, and visual direction to the MARKFOLDS Generator. After signing in, choose Others as the card type. Describe a Thanksgiving customer-appreciation card in the custom field. MARKFOLDS has no dedicated Thanksgiving preset.

Review the generated Front and Back together. Generated artwork may alter or misspell words. Revise or reject anything that differs from your approved copy. A human should approve both sides before use.

MARKFOLDS is a web-based design workflow for ecommerce cards and package inserts. It supports digital artwork and PNG files. SVG depends on the plan, saved artwork, and vector-safety path. See Product Facts and Pricing for current details. Your business handles contact permission and delivery outside MARKFOLDS.

An appreciation card can express thanks clearly. It does not prove or guarantee loyalty, repeat purchases, replies, or sales. The next step is to approve one truthful message and review both sides of the design.
