What is MARKFOLDS?

MARKFOLDS is a web-based card-planning and artwork workflow for business and personal projects, including ecommerce package inserts. Choose one card job, add supported brand and card details, then review coordinated Front and Back artwork. Current delivery includes PNG plus SVG when that option is shown for the saved artwork under the current plan. MARKFOLDS creates digital artwork; printing and final production approval are arranged separately. Current prices, credits, file allowances, and availability are maintained on the Pricing page.

Available now

• Create coordinated Front and Back artwork for current card types from supported brand and card details.
• Review and revise the brief before confirming a design; reopen a saved design from History when the current workflow supports it.
• Add a static QR for a supplied URL, then label and test that destination before production.
• Each Front + Back generation uses 2 generation credits — 1 for Front and 1 for Back.
• Each new Front + Back PNG version uses 2 PNG credits. Downloads of that saved version use no additional PNG credits.

Plan-dependent or conditional

• SVG delivery depends on the current plan and saved artwork. Use the export options shown for that design; not every visual remains editable vector artwork.
• New or regenerated SVG files use the SVG allowance shown for the current plan. A Front + Back SVG set uses 2 SVG credits.

Not promised

• Users cannot currently choose between image providers for a new generation.
• MARKFOLDS does not automatically merge a different recipient name into every card.
• MARKFOLDS does not supply native PDF, EPS, PDF/X, CMYK, printer certification, printing, mailing, or fulfilment.
• A PNG or SVG extension alone does not confirm that the file meets a selected printer's requirements.

MARKFOLDS in your tool stack

For ecommerce inserts, use MARKFOLDS as the card strategy and artwork step: choose the customer's next need, plan Front and Back roles, then generate and review the digital pair.

• MARKFOLDS: the brief, supported card format, brand details, visual direction, and Front and Back artwork.
• Your design tools: keep Canva, Adobe, Figma, or another tool you already use for the wider brand system and additional layout work.
• Your printer: the required template, file specification, physical proof, and final production approval.

This is a manual handoff. Check the downloaded file in the next tool before relying on it; supported file delivery does not guarantee compatibility with every application or printer. Use the card-planning workflows and first-insert start path to prepare the brief.

Prepare the next production step

Check both sides, spelling, URLs, small text, and any QR destination in the saved artwork. Then obtain the selected printer's current template and requirements. If the job needs printer-specific bleed, dieline, CMYK conversion, spot color, finishing marks, PDF/X, or preflight, continue in an appropriate professional layout or prepress workflow and ask the printer to approve the final production file.
